EirGrid launches Offshore Operations and Maintenance Market Consultation

As part of Ireland’s ambition of producing 80% of electricity from clean renewable sources by 2030, EirGrid is seeking feedback from the marketplace to assist with the development of our procurement and contracting strategy for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) for the development of offshore wind grid infrastructure as part of the phase 1, phase 2 and future phase offshore renewable energy projects off the coast of Ireland.

This market consultation will explore project needs and supply chain requirements. Additionally, we are seeking views on the best current market mechanisms available to provide the required deliverables.

The deadline for expressions of interest is Wednesday 10 July 2024 at 12:00pm Irish Standard Time. All completed questionnaires should be submitted through the eTenders platform.
